We are approved and licensed by the Washington State Board of Education and Department of Social and Health Services.

Our memberships include:

  • Pacific Northwest Montessori Association (PNMA)
  • Washington Federation of Independent Schools (WFIS)
  • National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
  • North American Montessori Teachers' Association (NAMTA)

St. Nicholas Montessori School is staffed with certified teachers who earned their certifications from training programs approved and accredited by Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) which is recognized by the Federal Bureau of Education. All of our staff is carefully chosen based on their professional and academic backgrounds, commitment to children and their families, and a love and desire for learning.
